Community description

Rongsak Songma is a scenic village surrounded by rivers and forests, located in East Garo Hills, Meghalaya. It has a population of 472 people across 92 households. The villagers primarily depend on agriculture, farming, livestock rearing, daily wage work, and exporting vegetables to nearby markets. In Rongsak Songma, efforts are underway to help community members develop and upskill their talents, fostering growth and new opportunities.
